What We Offer
Intro 3 - Advance
8 classes: 4 guided classes on Fridays from 6.30am to 8am 1x on 2 alternating with 1 Mysore class on the days that suit you, over 4 weeks.
220 CHF Classes will only be held with a minimum of 3 students.
Intro 1 - Beginner
This course is designed for new students who would like to learn in a small group or for experienced practitioners who would like to develop their own practice in order to become independent. Over 4 weeks, you will develop a strong base to build on: fundamental postures, proper breathing, concentration techniques, and relaxation. There are 2 sessions held per week for this course on Mondays and Wednesdays from 06h30 to 08h00. The course package is CHF260. Courses will only take place with a minimum of 3 students.
If you are a beginner and you do not have the opportunity to make the most of this course, it is quite possible to introduce Mysore courses whether you are beginner or advanced. This will always be one of the best ways to start.
Traditionally Counted (Led) Class
The teacher guides the group through the sequences from start to finish without interruption using the traditional Sanskrit counting system. This course is for those who already have some practice and an understanding of the Ashtanga method. This guided course does not focus on the subtle understanding of breathing or postures but on the location and regular rhythm of the Vinysasas (movement and breathing synchronization).
Led classes are offered on the last Friday of each month at 06h30 to 08h30. This replaces the usual morning mysore session. Led classes are included in any Mysore CLASS PASSES or UNLIMITED ACCESS packages.
Private & Semi-Private Lessons
A private session gives you the opportunity to develop a yoga practice based on your own personal needs. It also allows a deeper understanding of different aspects of the practice (breathing, structure, and focus). This is also a great method to prepare yourself to join other classes. A 60-minute lesson is CHF100 and a 90-minute lesson is CHF130. We are also happy to travel to you for home sessions with a CHF20 surcharge for travel.
Enjoy a 90-minute private lesson including 2 follow-up drop-in Mysore morning sessions for CHF150. Follow-up classes are to be taken within one week of the initial one-to-one lesson.
With the Mysore sessions, there is a beginning of rotation at a definite time, then it is possible to come at the time that suits you best in the time slot.
Mysore is authentic way the yoga method is taught, welcoming both beginners practicing next to advanced students, each developing at their own level and rhythm as they practice their own portion of the Ashtanga sequence of asanas (postures). The student receives personalised instructions and adjustments depending on their level, constitution, and understanding of the practice. Therefore, the class is not led as a whole but rather all instruction is one-on-one within the class setting.
We offer yoga classes in the workplace to help not only to improve employee health and wellbeing but also boost productivity and energy.
By working to improve posture, workplace yoga can also help to combat any aches and pains from long hours of sitting. Furthermore, we have a strong focus and interest in teaching correct breathing, and offer many other tools which can help employees to manage anxiety and lower stress levels.
Classes can be customised to suit the needs of your company and employees.
Intro 2 - Improvement
This course is offered in continuation of INTRO 1 to allow you to build on what was learnt. We move forward in the first series and we deepen the method in order to have the keys essential to a deeper practice to allow you to make a smooth transition to the Mysore classes. Classes run over a 4 weeks and 2 sessions are held per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 06h30 – 08h00. The course package is CHF260. Courses will only take place with a minimum of 3 students.
If you do not have the opportunity to make the most of this course, it is quite possible to introduce Mysore courses whether you are beginner or advanced. This will always be one of the best ways to start.
Prāṇāyāma is a Sanskrit word alternatively translated as "extension of the prāṇa (breath or life force)" or "breath control." The word is composed from two Sanskrit words: prana meaning life force (noted particularly as the breath), and either ayama (to restrain or control the prana, implying a set of breathing techniques where the breath is intentionally altered in order to produce specific results) or the negative form ayāma, meaning to extend or draw out (as in extension of the life force).
On any MOON DAYS where class is scheduled, a pranayama course from 06h30 to 08h000 open to all will replace any morning Mysore sessions.Pranayama classes are included in any Mysore CLASS PASSES or UNLIMITED ACCESS packages.
